In law, acquiescence occurs when people knowingly stands by without raising any objection to the infringement of their rights, while someone else
unknowingly and with out malice aforethought makes a claim on their rights. Consequently, the person whose rights are infringed loses the ability to make a claim against the infringer, or succeed in an injunction suit due to the infringer’s conduct. The term is most generally a kind of “permission” given by silence or passiveness.

PORTLAND, Ore. (AP) – Portland Police say they had nothing to do with letters that labeled certain Bible passages “technically illegal” (emphasis mine) and urged residents to call authorities if they heard local Pastors using them.
Police sais Saturday that the letters were distributed overnight in the Ladd’s Addition neighborhood of Southeast Portland.
The letters make reference to passages from 1 Corinthians, calling the verses discriminatory and technically illegal. (emphasis mine)
Authorities did not release the full text of the letters or say which verses were highlighted. Officers asked anyone who received a copy to call police. Copyright 2013 The Associated Press
Is this a fluke and not to be considered more than some quirky gimmick of an individual or is this a trend now appearing elsewhere in the United States read on and disassociate yourself …if you can.

There is a fundamental question that every American Christian (Or World Christian) must answer. Does your religious leader serve the word and the will of God, or does he serve the New World Order through tacit acquiescence? Ron Trowbridge, an undersheriff with the Prowers County, Colo., Sheriff’s Office detailed a presentation, on behalf of Homeland Security (DHS) in which Colorado State Patrol Trooper, Joe Kluczynski, gave a two hour presentation on the “sovereign citizen” movement. The message was clear to all in attendance. If Christians take the Bible too literally, they should be considered to be a domestic terrorist threat under the label of what DHS is referring to as being a sovereign citizen. The movement is a thinly veiled attempt to divide Christians into two camps. One group of Christians, which follow their false prophet leaders who believe in a perverted interpretation of Romans 13 that espouses that Christians condone all actions of government, no matter what these actions consist of. These are to be considered the “good Christians” and will be tolerated by NWO lap dogs, namely the DHS. There is a second group of Christians which pose a threat to DHS because they take the word of God literally and recognize His laws as taking precedent over the laws of mankind. The latter group of Christians are ones that need to be dealt with.
With the Kluczynski presentation, America has officially entered into the realm of religious persecution.
There are many more examples available to list here but I believe the point has been made. I wish to postulate a premise that may or may not be agreeable to you but I submit it for your consideration because it may bear on some understanding of the role of a Christian in these times.
Genesis 1: 27. “So God created man as his own image, as the image of God he created him; male and female he created them”. I concur with the words of Dr. Michael Heiser: ” My view of what image means is based on a point of Hebrew grammar, specifically a special function of the preposition “In” with respect to the phrase “in the image of God”. In our own English language – and we don’t often think of our language in such detail – we use the preposition “in” to denote many different ideas. That is, “in” doesn’t always mean the same thing when we use that word. For example, if I say “put the dishes in the sink”, I am using the preposition to denote location. If I say, “I broke the mirror in pieces”, I am using in to denote the result of some action or accident. If I say, “I work in education”, I am using the preposition to denote that I was a teacher or principal, or some administrative capacity. This last example is the key to understanding what the Hebrew preposition usually translated “in” means in Genesis 1:26 – and that will unlock the meaning of image bearing. The idea I want to put forth is that humankind was created as God’s image. In other words, the preposition tells us that humans work as God’s imagers – that they work in the capacity of God’s representatives. The image is therefore not a thing put in us; it is something we do or are. It is not a thing; it is a function or status. Don’t think of it as a noun; think of it as a verb. Being created as God’s imagers means we are God’s representatives on earth. Humans were created to rule and care for the earth as God would if he were physically present. It is as though we are Him when it comes to overseeing His earth. This duty is part of being human and you are human (By virtue of your DNA) from conception. This is why Genesis 1:26-27 are followed by what theologians call the “dominion mandate” – that these humans are now to “subdue the earth”.
The above I believe underscores the need for Christian’s to fully understand who they are in Christ and to step into that role and responsibility nothing wavering or yielding to the very same powers that have since the fall sought to usurp the promise given to us by our Lord.
