This morning, Sunday December 14, 2014, I viewed a local CBS News affiliate’s broadcasting of yesterday’s Protest March in Washington DC only to see a Black Lady marching wearing a White shirt with the word Redskins across the front. It struck me that only recently there was much ado about the NFL team in Washington called the Redskins to drop that name because it was racially insensitive. Then I ask, when it comes to color and/or prejudice, does that nomenclature address one color only by a person of a different color? Or would it be better for all of us to forget skin color and find the true color of a man or woman residing within?
